Mon 06 Jul

Virtual event on Zoom

Evangelicals have been debating the meaning of the word 'Head' for decades - but Dr Lyndon Jost remained unconvinced by etymology and chose instead to look for a figurative pattern in the Old Testament world. His conclusions are both profound and simple. so relevant to all.

About the event

Dr Lyndon Jost is the Director of the Reformed House of Studies at Wycliffe College, Toronto, a presbyterian pastor and the author - 'Transfiguring Headship'.   He recently joined Susie Leafe and Tim Vasby-Burnie to explain in simple terms what he has discovered about what it means for Christ to be the head of his body - and to help us think about the implications for our churches and communities.

This Ideas Exchange will feature a recording of Dr Lyndon Jost's contributions, with the opportunity to ask questions and interact with others attending the session.

This is for all - whatever your denomination and whether you would describe yourself as complementarian or egalitarian, Dr Lyndon Jost will challenge, encourage and point us to Christ.
